The long driveway of Seville Hill Estate leads you up and up, past rows of vines, and as you reach the top, you'll find breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley before you. Further along, beside the winery and cellar door are beautiful, century old Elms that cast dappled light over the lawns. This is a perfect setting for a baby grand piano, drum kit and double base of the Chris Dal Trio, who rolled out smooth jazz tunes on a warm summer afternoon in January. Add groups of friends and families, fine wine and gourmet fare and you have the series of Summer Jazz conducted there, fortnightly.
Once you have settled in, head to the cellar door to taste one of the many wine varieties Seville Hill have created. Owners John and Josie D'Aloisio, will expertly guide you through the wonderful array of flavours to experience, from a Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot to a pretty pink Rose, and a range of reds including a Tempranillo, for something a little different.
