Medium ruby red in colour. This wine exhibits cloves, spice, cinnamon and vanilla characters with hints of brambleberry and mint. These follow through to the palate with overtones of black cherry and touches of liquorice and smoky oak flavours. Smooth tannins frame the fruit with a clean acid finish. Though good drinking now, this wine will continue to develop with careful cellaring. |
