This 2015 Blanc De Blanc made in the Methode Traditionnelle style from the Upper Yarra estate grown chardonnay shows a wealth of intensity from the crisp acidity interwoven with green apple and lychee flavours; perfectly enhancedd with aromas of perfumed honey and green apples.
Aromas of red cherries and currants with hints of sage following through to the palate with flavours of ground coffee, cedar, overtones of tobacco, hints of truffle, all framed with firm tannins.
An enriched full soft palate with flavours of black cherry, boysenberry, aniseed, mocha coffee, spices and white pepper. The complex structure of this wine is further enhanced by well integrated oak and a soft tannin finish. Will develop with long term cellaring.
